Yemeni Joint forces dismantle dozens of Houthi mines in Hodeidah

The engineering teams of the joint forces dismantled dozens of mines planted by the Iran-backed Houthis in the farms of residents, south of Al-Baleel village, north of Hays district in Hodeidah.

The team discovered a large number of fields booby-trapped with mines and IEDs planted by the Houthis in residents' farms. A worker in the engineering team said.

The team dismantled 40 mines in one of the farms in the village of Al-Baleel, which prevented the people from practicing their business on their farms. He added.

The Yemeni joint forces continue to dismantle minefields and explosive devices planted by the Houthis, as part of their great efforts to secure the recently liberated areas and re-normalize life in them.
