Female detainee dies in Houthi prison as a result of torture

A female detainee has died due to torture inside one of the secret detention centers run by the Iran-baked Houthis. Security sources said.

She was taken to the central prison in Sanaa earlier this week, and she was in poor health after being transferred from one of the secret prisons of the Houthis. The sources added.

The Houthis immediately took her body to an unknown location.

Human rights sources suggested that the victim may be one of the detainees who were recently arrested due to their work in organizations. They hold the Houthis fully responsible for the lives of the detainees.

Human rights reports have documented 113 cases of death under torture in illegal detention centers run by the Houthis.
